Sean Macreavy - Director
Sean set up the company in July 2016 after 15 years in Further Education, teaching Music at Halesowen College and subsequently Film and TV at Heart of Worcestershire (formerly NEW) College, where he worked as Advanced Practitioner and latterly Quality Manager.
​
Before launching his business, he had already amassed extensive experience of working with clients on films and photography of all kinds. He brings a wealth of other skills to the table from his previous careers in advertising sales and as a professional musician. His love for film, photography, music and sound is reflected in his passionate approach to all of our clients' business needs.

Jacquie McGonagle-Turner
Jacquie McGonagle-Turner - Scriptwriter and Director
Jacquie is a highly experienced educator and a recognised playwright and scriptwriter with extensive experience in developing drama and media as a proactive resource for issue based topics. She is currently a Lecturer in Education at Warwickshire College Group, as well as working in partnership with Sean Macreavy Media.
She led FE and HE Performing Arts courses at Heart of Worcestershire (formerly NEW) College in Bromsgrove for many years, during which she wrote and directed numerous successful community stage productions, focussing on issues affecting young people. These were commissioned by county and district councils and LEAs. The productions included 'SELFie Where's the HARM?' (details elsewhere on this site) and 'It Takes Two', a drama on teenage sexual health that was adapted by NEW College students as a film. This went on to win the coveted Learning on Screen Awards 'Special Achievement' prize in 2010.

John Roddy - Sound Engineer, Recordist and Designer
John is an extremely talented freelance sound engineer, recordist and designer. He has worked on a number of projects with Sean Macreavy Media including the sound recording for ADS (Association for Dementia Studies) at the University of Worcester. John also works with Fix8films Ltd, predominantly on corporate films, and Insert Audio Ltd as one of their live sound engineers. He also performs location recording, including voice-over with actors and various voice over artistes.
He has worked on many theatre shows and tours, including tours of Spain and China, such as Merry War, Tempestory, A Clockwork Orange, Shout, Cinderella, Rent and Freeman. John has worked with Strictly Arts Theatre Company on their latest film entitled ‘Consequences,’ for which he recorded all of the location sound for the shoot, and was also the Re-recording Mixer.

Rob Salmon - Camera Operator and Video Editor

Rob graduated from Heart of Worcestershire (formerly NEW) College in Bromsgrove with a Distinction in his Foundation Degree in Media Production. After a successful final year at Coventry University, he's since combined several roles within his career. He is a camera operator and director at Gems TV in Redditch, a DSLR camera specialist with Jessops, and manages his freelance videography and photography business, Orfactor Productions.

He brings a highly professional, painstaking approach to every project, with impeccable and beautiful photography and powerful editing.

Owain Ulyet - Camera Operator and Video Editor
​
As a former star student of Sean's at Heart of Worcestershire (formerly NEW) College in Bromsgrove, Owain went onto the Bournemouth Film School, where he trained in cinematography under Witold Stock BSC & Digby Elliot. With a passion and drive for creating beautiful imagery, Owain finds gratification in people's emotions and reactions. Within his films, moments and memories that would normally go amiss inspire, motivate and provoke meaning.

He is currently freelancing as a videographer and photographer.
